The Reason for the Subject Selection As Organizational Commitment students, our team thought about what companies could do to achieve competitiveness in human resources point of view. We reached a conclusion that the attraction and the retention of employees is the most important factor in terms of human resources. In reality, all the companies are striving to secure an outstanding workforce, and this is one of their primary concerns. Through our reasoning, we came to a conclusion that attracting talented employees is closely related to job satisfaction, and retaining those people is closely related to organizational commitment. For this matter, we decided to study on job satisfaction and organizational commitment. Ⅰ-2. The Direction and Methods of Research There could be many ways to look at job satisfaction and organizational commitment. After careful consideration, we decided to look at both the students' perspective - potential employees who have little or no work experience- and the companies' perspective- those who represent the reality of jobs. First, to figure out the students' perception on job characteristics, especially the job satisfaction factors, we conducted surveys.
