Also, HANATOUR is a first comprehensive tour enterprise, which has been achieved of No.1 for 12 consecutive years overseas travel and ticket sales. 1) History and description of the company HANATOUR established Kook-Jin travel Agency at first in November 1993. It changed name to HANATOUR Service, INC. and opened branch office in Busan, Gangnam, Daegu, Daejeon, Incheon, Gwang-ju, Soowon, Cheongju, and Gangrung in 1996. In 1999, HANATOUR was extended market at Asia, as opened overseas office in Thailand. It Preferred Sales Agency contract signed with US Trek America . And then, HANATOUR launched TOURTOTAL.COM a portal site specializing in tourism and opened overseas office in Hong Kong, US, Australia, New Zealand, Saipan, Philippine and Guam. It Listed in KOSDAQ, First of same industry in 2000. Also, it opened Branch office in Incheon International Airport and overseas office in Hawaii, New York, Canada, Italy. And It Signed Master Franchise contract with Amex Travel, in 2001. In 2002, HANATOUR contributed local society, as Introduced Annual donation funding system . In the same year, it established subsidiary HANATOURIST and opened branch office in youngdeungpo and Samsungdong, Jeju, Sooncheon. It also established subsidiary HANA KANGSAN , HANATOUR INTERNATIONAL in 2003. Later, it established subsidiary TOURMARKETING KOREA and joined hands with OK TOUR in 2004.
